HOW MUCH DOES THE SHIPPING COST? 

The shipping price is calculated based on weight coefficient of each item. 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER? 

We do our best to ensure your order arrives in a timely manner. In general, most frame orders are processed, produced and shipped within 2-3 business days - and typically arrive in 4-5 business days. Canvas orders are usually produced in 3-4 days, arriving in 5-6 business days. Next day and 2-day express shipping are available, however please note that these options will not affect processing time. International orders typically arrive within 6-10 business via USPS Priority Mail.

CAN I SHIP TO CANADA/INTERNATIONAL/APO/FPO ADDRESSES? 

Yes. Additional charges may apply. Items will be shipped USPS Priority International or FedEx, per request.

What is your Policy on Returns/Exchanges/Refunds?

We will provide a no charge replacement or refund for any quality issues. We may request to have the presentation / order returned to us and would provide a return shipping label. We do not provide a refund based on customer preference. We will provide a refund or a no charge replacement for any orders damaged in shipping. A replacement print can only be issued once we have been provided with clear pictures of the damaged print and the packaging in which it arrived. If the package arrived with visible external damage, please include clear images of all damage to the packaging along with images of any damage to the print or prints. CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER? 

Unless your order has already gone into production you can cancel it.

Shipping for original paintings

Shipping times range from 3-9 business days. Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as available. Shipping is included with the purchase of an Original Renee Bitinas painting within the continental United States, unless otherwise stated. If you'd like an international shipping quote, please contact the artist at info@reneebitinas.com 

Insurance is always included with shipping original oil paintings. We take the utmost care to ensure the paintings are shipped in proper packaging so that they arrive safely. In case of damage during the shipping process, your funds will be returned to you. 

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON RETURNS/EXCHANGES/REFUNDS?

Policy for the Return of Original Paintings & Limited Edition Prints:

Don’t love your new artwork? If the artwork doesn't satisfy you entirely, you have 3 days from receipt of the artwork to return it in its original condition and packaging (in the proper, professionally packed art box). This means it must be mailed out within 3 days of receipt. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the consumer. If shipping was included in the price of the artwork, you will be refunded the amount you paid minus shipping fees, and proof of shipping costs will be provided in the return process in the form of a receipt from the shipping company. The returning of funds will start once the artwork has been received by the artist and inspected for any damage or alterations. Please allow up to five business days for the funds to be returned.

Exchanges:

If you’d like to exchange your art for another piece, this is acceptable, and you will be refunded in the same manner explained above if the new item is lower in price, or you will pay the difference if the price is higher. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the client. The newer piece will be mailed out once the returned item has been received and inspected for damage. In general, most of my work includes free shipping unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. 

Exceptions:

Unfortunately, after 3 days of I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. I may require a photograph of the item to ensure no damage has taken place, to differentiate damage from consumer or during the return shipping route. 

To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase.I am not able to offer refunds in the following cases:Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.Any item that is returned more than 10 days after delivery within the Continental U.S.A. and more than 21 days from international locations or territories outside of the Continental U.S.A.

Commissions:

My commission return policy states that the client will pay 50% of the price upfront and 50% upon receipt, unless otherwise stated in the commission contract. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the final product when you see it in person, the artist retains the first 50% and you are not required to pay the remaining amount. If the item was shipped, the client has 3 days from receipt of the artwork to either pay the remaining 50% or return it in its original condition and packaging (in the proper, professionally packed art box). This means it must be mailed out within 3 days of receipt. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the consumer as well as including insurance for the full price of the project, which will be coordinated and verified with the artist before proceeding.

I may require a photograph of the item before you return it to ensure no damage has taken place, to differentiate damage from consumer or from the second shipping route. If there has been any damage or alterations to the artwork once it has been returned to the artist, then the insurance coverage by the shipping company will be responsible for covering that cost. 

Photography Prints (excluding limited edition items):

The return policy is between the consumer and the print company, Art Storefronts Prints. Their return policy is stated on their website as follows:

Art Apparel:

The returns are between the consumer and VIDA, where the apparel was purchased from, unless bought directly from the artist. If bought directly from the artist, you have 7 days to return your item in its unaltered, original form. Return shipping fees are the full responsibility of the consumer, unless otherwise arranged. Once the item has been received by the artist and there is no damage or alteration upon inspection, you can expect to receive a full refund within 5 days. 

WHo do i contact with questions about originals?

You can contact the artist directly at info@reneebitinas.com or 727-210-5760 with any artwork questions. Originals and limited edition prints are fulfilled directly by the artist, while regular prints in the print store are fulfilled by a third party print vendor. 

What if I want a frame for an original artwork? 

If you'd like a custom frame with your artwork, please let the artist know by email or phone. The artist will help to choose the best option for the artwork and can provide a proposal based on frame type, in which an upcharge will be added to the amount of the painting itself. 

WHERE IS THE ARTIST LOCATED?

Renee Bitinas is a fine artist located out of the Tampa Bay Area in Florida. 

WHAT ART PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH RENEE BITINAS FINE ART?

Original oil paintings in abstract modern style, some realism paintings, commissions, and limited edition prints are available. Photographs are also available for print from Renee's travels and time spent in Europe. Modern, industrial, nature, and architectural are the subjects of her photography. 

ARE COMMISSIONS AVAILABLE?

YES! Commissions are available. If you see a piece you like but want it in a different size or color, the artist can recreate a new original for you in the same style. Whatever is needed for your space, within Renee's style of expertise, can be created on a commission basis. Commission rates are proposed after a consultation. General Care instructions

Works on canvas must always be framed without glass and the canvas must be stretched properly on the supporting frame, to minimize fluctuation of the canvas, as a result of changes in temperature and humidity. These are factors that might cause shrinking and expansion of the paint layer, that will result in cracks in the paint.  

Housekeeping Guidelines: 

1. Paintings must not be cleaned with water or any other cleaning materials. 

2. Paintings on canvas may be lightly brushed with a feather duster to remove dust. 

3. Paintings should be removed from the wall twice a year and the back of the painting should be examined. Paintings on canvas should be turned upside down and given a gentle shake to remove dust. 

4. Frames should be examined regularly for wood-worm.  

 When does a painting need professional treatment? 

1. If prominent cracks appear in the paint layer. 

2. If paint lifts from the canvas. 

3. If yellow spots appear on the surface or back of your paper-work – this is a sign of fungi that must be removed. (Remark: As these spots usually appear first on the back of the paper, it is most important to examine the back of your paintings regularly.) 

4. If waves or bumps appear in the canvas – this is a sign that your painting needs re- stretching. 

5. If there is a general change of tone of your painting – paintings covered with varnish tend to turn yellowish or brown over the years, sometimes to the extent that some details of the painting disappear. 

6. If your painting has been exposed to water – preferably while it is still wet.  

 Storage: If you have paintings that are not hanging, temporarily, they should be stored in appropriate conditions. The climatic conditions in which the paintings are stored should not be dramatically different from those where the paintings will eventually be hung. The transition between a cold, damp basement or a hot attic to a climatized room could be disastrous. The guideline for storing is airflow. 

1. Stored paintings should be raised off the floor to allow air-flow and to protect them from water damage. 

2. Stored paintings should be covered with cotton sheets and not polythene that may cause mould.  

3. Carton or ply dividers should be inserted between the paintings to avoid pressure.  

 4. Choose interior walls rather than exterior walls for stacking your stored paintings. They are drier. 

5. If you are storing paintings for a long period, then we would advise you to examine them periodically, to dust them and change the protecting covers. Sachets of silica gel will help protect your paintings from humidity.
